Even with a long established and powerful brand presence, this company felt it was vital to see a major shift in people’s attitude with the launch of a new global mantra in 2006. In order for the company to achieve this new mission, everyone, at every level, would be expected to strive for the impossible.
Attitude was seen as the key to bringing the strategic business plan to life and leaders were tasked with developing in their teams a shared attitude of trust, purpose, total focus and positive belief. In short, they had to help realign individual attitude, values and preferences to match those of the company.
Led by Paul Bird Associates Yasmin Dewan the company began to review each individual’s potential through one-to-one coaching and psychometric profiling supported with monthly workshops over 18 months.
The company has gradually replaced singular ideas and attitudes of negativity and doubt, with ones of openness, mediation and team co-operation. This shift in mindset has proved to be such an awakening for people that individuals feel connected to and totally involved with changes as they happen in their Company. This has resulted in people being more fully engaged with their work and committed to the shaping of their own future and that of the organisation.
